Louise: “Our Europe trip ended with Ryan proposing on our first night in Positano. We sailed around the coast and I was just in awe of how beautiful it was. After about an hour we turned around and headed back into Positano. Ryan asked the driver to take our picture. He got up to give his phone to the driver. At this point he got the ring. I stood at the front of the boat as I turned around. Seeing Ryan getting down on to his knee! It’s not often that I’m speechless but I honestly had no words. People have asked me what he said during the proposal, but it all feels like such a blur. I really can’t remember haha! But of course I said yes and as Ryan put the ring on, the driver started beeping the horn on the boat!”.
The first and last venue was Chateau de Bonnemare. From the very entrance point Louise and Ryan were in love with this venue and I totally get that! Chateau de Bonnemare is set within a 22 hectare park and surrounded by the most beautiful gardens. The Chateau is steeped in history from XVIth century and listed as an historic monument, located in Normandy and only 100km from Paris. Exactly what Louise and Ryan wanted, because it’s easy to travel by car or plane. The current guardians of Chateau de Bonnemare, have created a warm and magical space for weddings, your own little piece of fairy tale France for your wedding day. Within this chateau exclusive estate there is also a chapel where you can hold your wedding ceremony.
The new Mr. and Mrs.
In August this gorgeous couple got married with their family and friends at their side. As I asked them… “Why France?” They answered: “Living away from home (England) made us decide it would be nice to have everyone together in the same place for a few days to really be able to enjoy and celebrate with our families and friends”. France was the perfect location! Louise and Ryan made a incredible good choice.
Louise and Ryan are such a sweet and loving couple and I really enjoyed photographing their weddingday.
Working with a great team for these two sweethearts and documenting their memories is why I love my job so so much!
