Having an intimate wedding can be very romantic. Especially when it’s with people who love each other very deeply, even if the wedding is just symbolic.

When Deborah and Craig wanted to get married, there were a few things to consider. They both live in Johannesburg, South Africa and Deborah’s family lives in The Netherlands. Deborah’s mother was ill at the time and passed away two weeks after this symbolic wedding, so she couldn’t fly to Africa to be at their big wedding. That’s why Deborah and Craig decided to have a small and intimate, meaningful wedding here in The Netherlands. Just her parents and her sister with her husband and adorable baby girl. Only seven people were at this symbolic wedding, and I can assure you… It was the most beautiful intimate wedding I have ever photographed. The love, the intensity was overwhelming, but so so gorgeous!
